Amerex C260 6 Liter Wet Chemical Fire Extinguisher

Wet chemical fire extinguishers are Class K hand-portable fire extinguishers for fires in restaurant kitchen cooking appliances. Each model utilizes a specially blended potassium acetate base agent and has been tested and approved by UL for restaurant kitchen hazards.  

The Class K is available in two sizes; 6 liter or 2½ gallon–with stainless-steel cylinders and easy-to-use hose-and-spray application nozzle. The superior fire-fighting capability of the Wet Chemical agent is placed exactly where you aim it with no dry chemical residue to clean up. The Models C260 and C262 are the ideal “KITCHEN USE” fire extinguishers. They supplement existing cooking equipment automatic system protection for an extra margin of safety.

This fire extinguisher comes with a polished stainless steel cylinder, all stainless steel valve construction, and a stored pressure design. It has a Temperature Range of +40°F to 120°F and a 5-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty. It has been tested to UL711 and is safe to use on energized electrical appliances.
