95552 Cato Warrior 5 lb Plastic Fire Extinguisher Cabinet, Red Tub / Red Cover

The Cato 95552 is the Warrior 5 lb plastic fire extinguisher cabinet with a red tub and a red cover. It is a two piece cabinet: a tub and a cover held together by a plastic locking seal, so no padlock is needed. To get the extinguisher out you pull up, the seal breaks and the cover comes off. Replacement seals are inexpensive, which is what makes the Warrior the cabinet of choice where tampering is common and a broken acrylic panel would be an expensive monthly habit.

Cato's own figures are the tub inside dimensions above. The Strike First and Amerex models listed are the ones whose published cylinder diameter clears the tub width and depth and whose overall height clears the tub height; the published width of a portable extinguisher includes its hose and handle, which sit beside the cylinder. Units marked tight fit have less than 1/4 inch to spare, so measure the extinguisher you actually own before ordering.

Mounting: the ADA standards for operable parts put the cabinet handle no higher than 48 inches above the finished floor, and an object whose leading edge sits between 27 and 80 inches above the floor may not project more than 4 inches into a circulation path.
