What it is
The .080 acrylic front panel is grid scored so it breaks cleanly when struck with the break tool. This is the consumable on a Chief cabinet - after the cabinet is opened in anger, or after a false alarm, this is the part you replace. Clear is standard; red gives the best outdoor UV resistance; the Customizer panel takes your own graphics. How do I work out which part number I need?
Match the cabinet model number, which is moulded or printed on the cabinet, against the replacement parts table in the submittal drawing linked below. Part numbers are tied to cabinet size and colour.
Are these genuine Cato parts?
Yes. These are Activar's own Cato parts, ordered against Cato catalog numbers.
Do the colours have to match?
The trim, hammer and lock colours are normally matched to each other rather than to the tub. Cato's own convention is that the hammer and hex key match the trim colour.
Is there a warranty on parts?
Activar warrants fire protection products other than extinguishers for one year from date of shipment against defects in materials and workmanship.
