What it is
JL Industries Orbit FE10V (FE10V) is a 10 lb portable fire extinguisher charged with specially fluidized and siliconized mono ammonium phosphate powder and UL rated 4A:80B:C for Class A, B and C fires. It stands 22" tall and 11" wide, on a 3" deep vessel, and ships at 24 lb. The vessel is non-magnetic tempered aluminum with an aluminum valve, with a visual pressure gauge and pull pin. The operating temperature range is -40°F (-40°C) to 120°F (49°C). A button hook and washer ship with it for wall mounting. JL does not recommend ABC dry chemical for use on sensitive electronic equipment.
The JL Industries FE10V is the Orbit FE10V, a 10 lb portable fire extinguisher in JL's Orbit series, charged with specially fluidized and siliconized mono ammonium phosphate powder and UL rated 4A:80B:C for Class A, B and C fires. It is specified for corridors, lobbies and other finished spaces where a slim wall profile matters. The powder smothers and breaks the chain reaction on Class B fires, fuses and insulates Class A fires, and is a non-conductor of electricity. JL states the Orbit vessel is as much as 40 percent slimmer than a traditional 10 lb model and is compliant with ADA protruding object regulations and local building codes.

JL's catalog lists this extinguisher as compatible with the following cabinet tub sizes:
- 12" x 27" x 3-1/8" tub (Orbit 2100 low profile series); the catalog states this tub fits only the Orbit FE10V
Sized to the cabinet tables in JL's fire protection catalog. JL's cabinet selection guide asks for at least 1" of clearance in height, width and depth over the extinguisher's own dimensions.
JL Industries warrants its fire extinguishers free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for six years from date of shipment; manufacturer warranty terms and conditions apply in all cases.
