The JL Industries Diamond Series™ (RHDG) represents the new standard in roof access, combining rugged durability with intelligent design. Engineered specifically for ladder access, this hatch features the proprietary Diamond Grip™ counter-flashing system, which allows installers to secure roof membranes by hand—eliminating the need for tools and preventing potential puncture damage during installation.
Constructed from robust 14-gauge galvannealed steel, the unit is finished with a durable, infrared-reflective white textured powder coat that resists corrosion and reduces thermal load. The hatch offers superior thermal performance with R-6 Polyisocyanurate insulation embedded in both the curb and cover. Designed with operator safety as a priority, the RHDG features OSHA-compliant counterbalanced springs and a one-handed latch system, ensuring effortless operation even while carrying tools.
