What it is
JL Industries Cosmic 10E (FE10C) is a 10 lb portable fire extinguisher charged with specially fluidized and siliconized mono ammonium phosphate powder and UL rated 4A-80B:C for Class A, B and C fires. It stands 21" tall and 7-3/4" wide over the hose and handle, on a 5-1/8" diameter cylinder, and ships at 18.25 lb. The cylinder is heavy-duty steel with an aluminum valve, with a visual pressure gauge and pull pin. The operating temperature range is -65°F (-53°C) to 120°F (49°C). A J-hook wall bracket ships with it as standard, and the Mark MB846C bracket is available separately. JL does not recommend ABC dry chemical for use on sensitive electronic equipment.
The JL Industries FE10C is the Cosmic 10E, a 10 lb portable fire extinguisher in JL's Cosmic series, charged with specially fluidized and siliconized mono ammonium phosphate powder and UL rated 4A-80B:C for Class A, B and C fires. It is specified for offices, classrooms, churches, parking garages and retail spaces. The powder smothers and breaks the chain reaction on Class B fires, fuses and insulates Class A fires, and is a non-conductor of electricity. It is non-toxic.

- US Coast Guard: Approved. The owner's manual notes that USCG approval is valid only when the extinguisher is fitted with the approved marine-type bracket named on its nameplate.
- In the box: the extinguisher with a J-hook wall bracket as standard; the Mark MB846C mounting bracket is available separately at extra charge.

Sized to the cabinet tables in JL's fire protection catalog. JL's cabinet selection guide asks for at least 1" of clearance in height, width and depth over the extinguisher's own dimensions.

JL Industries warrants its fire extinguishers free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for six years from date of shipment; manufacturer warranty terms and conditions apply in all cases.
